I don’t want your love, I want a biscuit – a
poem inspired by our poem idea monger of the month, Noam Afek
Party Rings, I want those things
No more, no less
Let’s digest before we request
Why dodge the jam, let’s just
Cut the custard as we slide
Towards a night of dreams.
Lets play cookie, lets make
Short work of time and bread.
Chip away at your chocolate gooey centre and
Waffle on as we stick
To the syrup of romance.
Twix it up when we Hobnob
And Breakway towards
Galaxies and find our Bounty.
I am hungry for love, or maybe
I’m just hungry.
