STAYING IN MY PYJAMAS ALL DAY
-       a poem title delivered by two people in two different ways- featuring the guest poet of the month, Mathew Cohen.

Staying in my Pyjamas all day- by Saskia Feltz

There are many reasons
One could choose pyjamas
For the quotidian
Which include but
Are not limited to:
Winter mornings fearful of
Cold toes
A sexy day, a lazy day
And ill day and a pyjama party

But when your days
Are marked by the
Amount of time in the
Most comfortable of your
Clothes, maybe the party
Is… in some way less of a
Party party and more
Of a pity party

So I prescribe actual
Vestments until harem
Pants come back in to
Fashion and more days
Of fun.

Staying in my pyjamas all day – by Mathew Cohen

I do not own pajamas
Save those my mother
Once bough when
I was three

I do not own pajamas
Nor do any pajamas
Own me,

Why would I wear those pyjamas,
That prevent me from
Flying free?

If I were to wear those
Pyjamas,
I would surely stay
In them all day
